GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the general supervision of the Manager- Medical Affairs/Clinical Quality, coordinates all functions related to Focused Provider Practice Evaluations and Ongoing Provider Practice Evaluations for the Henry Ford Medical Group. Under an Information technology director responsible for principal business analyst, assists in the development of requirements analysis, utilizing case reviews, fit/gap analyses, and preliminary design reviews with customers. Communicates solutions, issues and risks, directly with technical management or other responsible entities, ensuring a fully integrated solution across multiple work streams.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Medical Affairs/Clinical Quality
Coordinate and support application functionality for departments, including, responding to management, add/term clinical users, request enhanced provider permissions, communicate and interact with users, manage metric thresholds, add/remove metrics from OPPE and educate/train ESR users.
Coordinates all functions related to launching and managing FPPEs and OPPEs for credentialed providers. Interact with Department leaders/personnel in support of this function.
Trouble shoot all issues of access, performance and functionality, and submit Service Now tickets/IT requests for breakdown and enhancements.
Information Technology
Subject matter expert (SME) in one or more applications' capabilities and features for users, owners, and administrators of solutions.
Keeps abreast of new Tools & Technology and functionalities across the application(s).
Assist with developing the methods and procedures required to identify whether current business goals and objectives meet organizational needs.
Analyze and document client's business requirements and processes and communicate these requirements by constructing conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries
Collaborate with work teams, departments, system leadership, staff, other IT groups, and technology vendors to define needs and facilitate solutions.
Provide input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs and develops business specifications to support these modifications.
Create test scenarios and develops test plans to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design.
Assist in analyzing testing results throughout the project.
Provide support, escalation response to production problem issues/errors. Performs root cause analysis and application resolution.
Provide on call second-level escalation response for client issues and application problem tickets
Demonstrate solutions to client in a workshop setting.
Ensure proper documentation and on-time delivery of all functional artifacts and deliverables.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree required in any field. Information technology degree preferred.
Two (2) years of applicable experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in healthcare as a business analyst or data
analyst required.
Proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word and Access.
Have experience using analytical skills to seek out, research and evaluate a variety
of solutions to provide clients with high quality, efficient business processes and
solutions that promote efficiency and enterprise-wide standardization.
- Must demonstrate the ability to mediate and bridge the relationship between
technical and business stakeholders without compromising the needs of the solution
users and the strategic goals of the organization
