What You Will Be Doing:
- Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical maintenance of electrical feed systems, and minor repairs to mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot, adjust, repair, rebuild mechanical roll forming systems, tooling, and machinery
- Inspect profiles using comparator, Vernier calipers, Micrometers, height gages, dial indicators, production gaging, Keyence IM and surface checking gages
- Read blueprints and accurately set and pin rolls to CAD data provided, layout rolls for grinding and accurately grind to within +/- 0.0002 tolerance
- Operate all tool room equipment and assist with design changes for roll forming machines
What You Will Bring:
- At least 2 years of experience as Roll Form Technician and/or Roll Form Operator in a manufacturing setting
- High School Diploma/GED
- Understanding of mechanical, air, hydraulic, and other systems, working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices and ability to read blueprints
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems, Oracle preferred
- Completion of trade school or formal training, certified Machinist or Die Maker is a plus!
