Summary
Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Marketing Project Specialist to support throughput for all marketing projects. The Marketing Project Specialist is the glue that holds the Communications & External Relations team together and the navigator that keeps us on course. As an integral member of a creative team, this critical staff member will plan, organize, and oversee the hundreds of projects that flow through the department annually. Working onsite in our Grand Rapids Campus with colleagues and external vendors, the Marketing Project Specialist will promote teamwork between participants, maintain schedules and review projects to ensure budget, scope and creative quality are efficiently achieved. Must be highly detailed oriented and service driven, finding joy serving the needs and growth of the Mary Free Bed System.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsible for managing marketing projects and moving them to completion in an effective, efficient, and organized manner.
Prioritizes projects to achieve results and deadlines while monitoring capacity, time and resources.
Knowledgeable about marketing and creative processes (including copywriting, graphic design, videography, photography and print production) to ensure projects are planned and executed quickly and efficiently as possible
Act as a gatekeeper to ensure requests adhere to Mary Free Bed brand standards and creatively reflect the Mary Free Bed voice and culture.
Administer electronic project request system and oversee status of project inventory.
Advise team on status of projects during weekly meetings and determine if changes are needed to schedule or budget.
Conduct intake meetings with internal stakeholders submitting projects to clarify goals, understand their creative vision and ensure projects support strategic plans and initiatives.
Set team members up for success by gathering project information and assets needed for a project. This includes draft initial copy or secure updated copy.
Collaborate with creative manager on deadlines.
Complete and maintain documentation for projects, progress, results, deliverables, and process improvement opportunities.
Implement new and innovative processes to streamline current procedures.
Responsible for tracking and providing data to evaluate campaigns.
Compile results of major campaigns and special advertising efforts.
Schedule, organize, and compile feedback on campaign and system discovery sessions.
Communicate with a variety of vendors and external stakeholders.
