We are currently seeking a Control/Automation Technician with extensive experience in controls and automation.
Essential Duties
- PLC programming and troubleshooting SLC and Control/CompactLogix systems
- Reading schematics and modifying existing systems
- Installing and programming VFD’s and servo systems
- Hardware and electrical troubleshooting and debugging
Qualifications & Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience in controls/automation
- Familiar with RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, Studio 5000
- Familiar with Panel builder 32
- Familiar with any robot OEM (proficiency with ABB preferred)
- Familiar with a variety of communication networks such as Device Net and Ethernet IP
- Familiar with Factory Talk View ME
- Knowledge of safety systems
- Some short-term travel required
