General Manager - Automotive / Mobility Enterprise Vertical is a senior position that supports the Global Key Accounts Vice President of the Enterprise Vertical in driving organic and sustainable growth for existing and new target accounts. The General Manager will also be an Account Director for one or more accounts within the Enterprise Vertical.
This role is integral in establishing and maintaining long-term strategic relationships that typically go beyond the sale of a single point solution.This position requires a high degree of analytical skills and industry knowledge to unlock hidden value that may not be readily identifiable to our clients.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive account plan aimed at maintaining existing business and identifying the top opportunities for organic and sustainable growth
Managing named global automotive accounts, in accordance with agreed financial and performance targets, based on DSV processes
Developingcreative, value-add solutions for the named global customers; leveraging DSV vertical structure and competencies into innovative developments
Work closely with operations to deliver high level of service to customersIdentify and develop relationships with key decision makers at all levels within an account
Understand the customer's business (strategically, operationally, & financially)and buying process
Work closely with customers to intimately understand their needs
Maintain an open dialogue with the account executive sponsor, account executive, and all other stakeholders, to keep them engaged in the account
Develop skills and capabilities of direct reports, enable them to reach their full potential
Support the Global Key Accounts VP in development and execution of industry-specific strategy
Preferred Candidate shall:
Have an advanced level of business acumen

Have good proficiency with the Microsoft suite of Office products

Experience and Education:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Automotive industry, either in manufacturing or logistics and supply chain settings, and a corresponding track record of success
Minimum of 2 years of experience with managing direct reports or 5 years of leading teams with dotted line reports
Subject matter expert grade knowledge of the Automotive industry
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in engineering, manufacturing, operations, program management, logistics, or supply chain
Travel:
Pre-pandemic travel levels ranged between 25% - 35%
80% of the travel (domestic)
20% of the travel is global in nature
For this position, the expected base pay is:$126,000-$189,000 / Annual.Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, geographical location, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
