Summary of Duties:
Sourcing Financial Analyst provides support in the areas of Sourcing by analyzing material costs including steel, freight, and other significant material cost drives. Analysis of financial data (PPV, Freight, reporting tracking and forecasting). Responsible as the primary connection between Sourcing Team and Finance. Leverage SAP knowledge by providing financial analysis to Finance & Sourcing Teams. Purchase Price Variance (PPV) analysis and projections, material and sourcing savings data collection and verification. Make vs Buy business case analysis, forecast planning, metals planning/forecast, freight cost tracking/forecasting.

Qualifications Required:
Qualification 1: Associate degree in accounting, Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in accounting from accredited four-year university is preferred. CMA certificate is preferred.
Qualification 2: At least 4 years accounting experience in a manufacturing environment with cost accounting emphasis.
Qualification 3: Or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient understanding of computerized ERP systems, including SAP cost modules.
Qualification 4: Ability to use Microsoft Excel extensively for financial analysis purposes. Ability to use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. Ability to present financial material in a manner that clearly communicates information. Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and manage deadlines accordingly. Demonstrated detail-oriented work ethic; Excellent analytical, organization and communication (both written and verbal) skills with the ability to work independently and interact effectively with all levels of management.
Qualification 5: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Qualification 6: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Understanding and ability to apply advanced algebra, geometry, and trigonometry to business analysis.
Qualification 7: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form. Ability to solve problems that involve multiple variables in common situations.
