Pay/Duration: 35.00 - 49.00 (based off experience) 12 months plus contract to hire

The Powertrain Analyst will perform Modeling and Simulation to support the development of conventional, hybrid electric and fully electric powertrains for ground combat vehicles.
Simulation of torque blending in parallel hybrid system.
Controller/logic tuning for fuel consumption, charging and vehicle range.
Thermal models of power electronics, batteries, and powertrain components.
Battery Management System modeling.
Multidomain powertrain models coupling engine, e-machine, batteries, and electronic components.
Development of toolsets for evolving architectures.
Proven history in the development, correlation, operation and maintenance of analytical toolsets.
Experience in interrogation and manipulation using 3D Modeling software
Experience preferred on commercially available and proprietary software.
Automotive and Heavy-Duty vehicle experience required.
Excellent analytical skills to appropriately size subsystems and components
Mind-set to work collaboratively in a team environment for program success.
Proven skills in the development of technical documents and oral communication.
