Description: The Warehouse Supervisor is expected to coach, mentor, and motivate a work group of UAW-represented hourly employees to deliver Best-in-Class Performance, Customer Service, and KPI’s.
Responsibilities:
- Safety
- Quality
- Productivity and Efficiency
- Direct supervision of UAW represented hourly employees
- Timekeeping of hourly direct reports.
- Analyze root causes and utilize countermeasures to effectively resolve day-to-day workplace challenges
- Enforce Standards of Conduct within the PDC
- Drive continuous improvement projects and processes to deliver the KPI’s.
- KPI’s include, but are not limited to: safety, housekeeping, overall quality, errors, shortages, wrong parts picked, on time delivery, damage, efficiency, productivity, costs, etc.
Requirements:
- 100% on Site
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years warehouse supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task and handle numerous responsibilities simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and basic warehouse management computer skills.
- Ability to work all shifts, start times and OT as required.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
