EARN WHILE YOU LEARN!
If you have thought about wanting to become a senior caregiver but don't know where to start, we can offer you a career working in assisted living and long term healthcare settings. Our Home Health Aide Apprenticeship Program is registered and approved through the US Department of Labor.
Through our partnership with Macomb Community College, participants will have the opportunity to work full time as a senior caregiver in assisted living while completing 148 hours of flexible classroom instruction through the college. Required coursework will be provided at no cost to the apprentice, and all work performed as a caregiver will be paid. Upon completion of the registered apprenticeship program, participants will earn a nationally recognized Home Health Aide certification!
We offer set schedules, a progressive pay scale throughout the apprenticeship program, ongoing training opportunities, multiple benefits for full time staff, discounted tuition and continuing education programs through Capella University, an employee referral program, and much more!
