About the Role:
Join our impactful and analytical Finance team! Our Finance department is composed of experts in accounting, tax, credit, financial planning and analysis, and more. We play a crucial role in our business's success by supporting our vendors, customers, and internal co-workers.
What You'll Do:
Oversee daily payroll operations, including stock transactions (RSU, RSA, ESPP, Dividends), manual checks, tax issue resolution, and processing deductions.
Review payroll processing using Payroll Software (e.g., Workday).
Direct payroll administration, time reporting, taxes, and garnishments for 10K team members.
Review and audit off-cycle payrolls for corrections or adjustments; ensure final pay complies with Company and State requirements.
Analyze and resolve payroll data errors; inspect system output and standard reports.
Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries and issues.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Support quarterly and year-end payroll closing for reporting purposes.
Act as a liaison for the Payroll Manager in process decisions and work delegation.
Support management with special projects and provide timely management and ad-hoc reports.
Train and mentor on Payroll standard operating procedures and tools/databases.
Provide support and backup to Payroll Specialists as needed.
Meet attendance and punctuality standards.
What We're Looking For:
5 to 10 years of relevant work experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent work experience.
FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred.
Ability to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting business activities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Strong relationship-building skills.
Sensitivity to the needs, concerns, and feelings of others.
This position is open to remote work; however, if you are located near one of our offices, you will be required to work on-site two days a week.
