Experienced Welder
We are seeking a reliable, motivated Welder Fabricator to become an integral part of our team! This is a first shift position with hours being 6:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
Applicants may be asked to complete a weld test.
Responsibilities:
As part of a heavy fabrication team, welders are responsible for welding and fabricating on various steel parts. Knowledge of all safety practices associated with welding, cutting and mechanical work.
Candidates should demonstrate strong welding fundamentals and be willing to continue developing skills in fabrication, grinding, fitting, and layout.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read shop and architectural drawings and interpret weld symbols.
- Experience with MIG and TIG welding processes preferred.
- Familiarity with common welding tools, fabrication equipment, and shop practices.
- Ability to perform layout, fit-up, grinding, and material preparation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a positive attitude, take direction from supervisors, and work effectively with teammates or independently.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods during an 8-hour shift.
- Ability to lift heavy materials when required
