SALARY RANGE: $42,081.24 - $56,899.94 (LBSW)
$43,721.60 - $59,085.53 (LLMSW)
$46,649.05 to $63,059.33 (LMSW)
LOCATION: Marquette, Michigan
NorthCare Network the Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan serves residents of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. NorthCare Network is currently recruiting an individual to serve as a Managed Care Clinical Specialist for NorthCare’s Access Department.
This position, under the supervision of the NorthCare Clinical Director, serves as the clinical entry to services and as a community resource for people who are seeking services. This position will require proficiency in conducting telephone access screenings to determine eligibility for CMHSP specialty mental health services for people with serious mental illness, serious emotional disturbance, developmental disability, or co-occurring disorders. The selected candidate may qualify under NorthCare’s Telecommuting policy to work a hybrid schedule of an on-site rotation with other staff (mandatory), as well as the potential to work from home.
QUALIFICATIONS: LMSW is preferred. Consideration may be given to appropriately qualified LBSW, LLMSW and or LPC. In addition to licensure, preference may also be given to applicants with MCBAP certification or a MCBAP development plan. Candidates must have excellent verbal, written, customer service and communication skills, as well as competence in relevant software applications. Licensure and certification must be up to date.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Answering the Mental Health Access line as needed; conducting brief telephone screenings to determine eligibility for CMH services; providing resource information to callers; and other duties as assigned
