1st Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3pm OR Monday-Thursday 7am-5pm
3rd Shift: Monday-Thursday 9pm-7am (long weekend every weekend!)
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Assembly Efficient operation of assembly equipment and other assembly tasks to safely produce and pack quality products to meet customer requirements.
Machine Operator Operate a variety of Vacuum Former and Trim Press/Robot equipment to produce quality products to meet the customer requirements
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Must be able to use and read various measuring devices
- Operate HMI (Human Machine Interface) Screen
- Ability to understand multiple types of assembly machine functions
- Problem solving knowledge and ability.
- Exposure to lean manufacturing principles
- Attention to detail/Quality frame of mind
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow work instructions
- Fully participate in and support the Corvac Quality System
- Observe general and specific safety rules.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the work area
- Fill out all required paperwork including but not limited to production, scrap and downtime
- Rework and repair defective parts as needed
- Responsible for the quality of product produced and identifying any non-compliant parts
- Responsible for assuring proper labeling is applied to finished goods containers
- Able to train others as needed
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
