VAST, an Acrisure agency partner, has a current need for a full-time Commercial Account Administrator. As an Account Administrator, you will be responsible for providing prompt, accurate, and courteous support services to clients and co-workers. The essential functions of the position include service to advisors and clients by handling policy inquiries, changes, quotes, and billing inquiries over the telephone or electronically.
Provide technical support to the Account Managers and the Advisor in assisting with client coverage changes
Handle cancellations, act to save accounts and follow-up to ensure resolutions
Assist Account Manager with making coverage changes
Assist claims specialist in submitting for first reports of claims, obtaining adjusters, or visits from agency staff
Use each claim contact as an occasion to review coverages and market as needed
Prepare summaries of insurance, schedules, and proposals for account review
Process new policies, renewals, endorsements, transactions, certificates, ID cards, claim updates and non-pay notices

Education and Experience:
Associate degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, required
Minimum 3 years' experience in customer service or insurance related field, required
Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of insurance related experience, preferred
Must obtain Michigan Life, Health and Accident License within 30-90 days of employment
Technology Skills:
Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills, required
Knowledge of Agency Management Systems and Acrisure Resources, preferred

Must have the ability to work well with others
Must have a high level of problem-solving skills
