Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Delivery / Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves a combination of warehouse duties and delivery responsibilities, ensuring that products are efficiently loaded, transported, and delivered to our jobs sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in warehouse operations and delivery driving. This position will also be responsible for setting up and tearing down displays for home shows, fairs, and other shows if necessary. Some weekend work may be required depending on show set-up and tear down hours.
Duties
- Load and unload products from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling and organization of items.
- Operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, to facilitate the movement of goods.
- Drive box trucks or other commercial vehicles to deliver products to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels, ensuring all paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as sorting, packing, and inventory management as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of products as required to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience towing a trailer beneficial.
- Experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigating local areas efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting and equipment operation.
