Job Duties and Responsibilities
Support daily production to ensure equipment uptime and appropriate throughputs are being achieved hourly and daily.
Working with sales, quality, and engineering to ensure product launches are completed on time.
Troubleshoot equipment, working with outside vendors and maintenance to ensure equipment runs as required.
Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Participate as a key member in implementing DOS principles and philosophies throughout the plant. Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
Ensure adherence to the Contractor Safety Program
Work with Team Leaders and Production Supervisor/Manager to drive continual improvement activities with the goal of improving overall plant KPI's (Key Performance Indicators).
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Engineering Technology degree or diploma
Knowledge of Fluid Mechanics and/or Materials are an asset
