Description
Event Development & Execution:
Demonstrates SoundOff Signal's Core Values in daily interactions with internal and external customers
Take leadership role in planning and delivering remarkable event experiences across trade shows, company events and sales programming
Have a firm understanding of, and be able to explain in detail, the company's history, community involvement, product portfolio and short-and long-term vision
Maximize product portfolio visibility through defining signature event and/or sponsorship opportunities
Manage all aspects of event planning, including product ordering, display and services creation, on-site management, logistics, and event team
Deliver detailed execution, innovative concepts and consistent brand messaging across the events
Efficient and timely communication on event planning at all levels of the organization
Work with cross-functional teams to execute strategic events that appropriately highlight our product and services
Work with the marketing managers and sales team to ensure event KPI's are met
Manage event execution to make sure we hit the right messaging for industry audiences and product value propositions
Create experiences, not just functional events
Establish creative methods for generating brand visibility at events
Monitor program results and develop tangible event wrap-ups to share with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain trade show properties, equipment and inventory through vendor partnership
Events budget management
Communications (Internal & External):
Maintain day-to-day written and verbal communication with necessary team members. This includes providing regular updates for assigned events, obtaining approvals when necessary, issuing budget updates, and discussing additional opportunities and key learnings.
Align with team members to ensure coherence across activity and identify national communication opportunities/themes
Manage, update and disseminate an events calendar to the appropriate managers. Write up and submit all information regarding events and promotions to be included in SoundOff Signal media.
Agency & Vendor Management:
Craft briefs and manage outside agencies and vendors on execution of events and collateral design - includes day-to-day management of exhibit company
Coordinate the execution of events with brand teams, executive team, sales, and regions, as appropriate
Work closely with travel agency to ensure seamless travel schedules, hotel reservations and transportation if needed
Tradeshow Partnerships and Sponsorships:
Seek out and generate proposals for national corporate partners that support the company's values and business objectives
Evaluate event/product sponsorship opportunities, strategically matching brands to the most appropriate events, while looking to maximize ROI
Able to perform job consistently and without excessive absenteeism or tardiness
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
3-5 years experience in tradeshow and events planning
Highly organized individual, who is able to lead direction with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
Microsoft Office proficiency - Word, Powerpoint and Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proven track record of strategic event planning demonstrating innovative use of technology, creativity and passion
Strong organizational and project management skills
Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and able to adapt to various work styles
Ability to travel domestically approximately 20% of the time
