As our Team Lead Cash Posting with Meditech experience, each day you can expect to be responsible for leading the implementation of payment posting processing best practices. To thrive in this role, you must have the following skills:
Understanding client payment posting and cash log requirements into policies and procedures.
Have experience with Meditech.
Working with different levels of reports.
Recognizing payment posting trends to reduce operational inefficiencies such as manual posting and batch corrections.
Ability to interrelate and communicate with people at all levels within the workplace. This could include running the meetings with key stakeholders.
Training and mentoring other team members.
Meeting routine deadlines and work schedules as well as timely and accurate completion of special projects.
Works reported incomplete/interrupted payer enrollments and payer access requests to ensure all operations are electronic to achieve highest production efficiency.
Researches remittances for payers with verified deposits as second tier support for operations.
Monitors cash operations on assigned clients and tasks to ensure expectations are met on all deliverables.
Monitors pending inventory and supports operations on payer resolutions.
What you can expect working in this role:
Posting payments, adjustments and denials to patient accounts. Verifies batch totals reconciles and updates log for variances.
Responsible for updating the daily receipt of client deposits and correctly logging to the daily Deposit Log.
Monitor and gather remittance advice or lock box deposits for manual or electronic postings.
Notifies supervisor of any issues related to payment posting, adjustments or denials.
Participates in professional/company development activities.
Ensures strict confidentiality of client records.
Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Post transactions manually when necessary.
Meet departmental productivity and quality standards in timeframe given upon completion of training.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $16.16 - $24.79 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
