Summary of Position: | Teaching required Traffic Management course during FALL semester for Law Enforcement Academy following MCOLES requirements.
This posting is being used for face to face instruction and will be required to be on campus one day per week. The candidate selected for the position must reside in Michigan after acceptance of employment.

Required Education: | MCOLES approved AND Master’s degree in criminal justice, criminal justice administration, police science, law enforcement, public administration, corrections, correctional rehabilitation, criminology, criminal psychology, forensic science, sociology with a criminal justice focus, other related degree approved by department faculty; OR MCOLES approved AND Bachelor’s degree in one of the previous fields AND 5 years of documented related field experience approved by department faculty. | |

Essential Duties/Responsibilities: | Instruct students in Traffic Management following the appropriate course module as approved by MCOLES .
Report to Law Enforcement Academy training director.
Faculty members also have professional responsibilities which may include but are not limited to: keeping regular posted office hours (which are scheduled at times convenient for students), and participation in traditional functions which have academic significance (ex. reporting initial student participation data and submitting final grades on time). Faculty may be required to teach off-campus or in an on-line environment.
Demonstrates an understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion, especially in working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and community members.
