Scope of work
Facilitates Corewell Health operational improvement in policy & procedure and forms consolidation by providing project management expertise to and oversight prioritized by the Corewell Health Nursing Policy and Procedure Steering Committee. Ensures projects are aligned that support the organization's goals and objectives of consolidation and electronic policy management. Provides a single point of contact for those projects and reports progress, barriers, and successes to all stakeholders, including the System Associate Chief Nursing Officer (Nursing Practice, Education, Policy, Research, Magnet) and the executive team.
Responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of Nursing Policy across the health system. Takes project from original concept through final implementation. Works with all areas affected by the project including end users, project sponsors and senior leadership. Develops work plans, schedules, resource plans, educational resources, and status report. Works in coordination with the System Associate Chief Nursing Officer with steering committee meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards. Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems. Compares and evaluates various courses of action and make independent decisions on matters of significance within the scope of their responsibilities.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing Required.
Master's degree in nursing Preferred.
5 years of relevant experience, minimum 5 years of nursing experience, health care or project management experience Required.
Recent (less than 2 years ago) clinical experience Preferred.
MI Registered Nurse license Required.
