What a Patient Scheduling Representative will do:
Schedule outpatient hospital procedures over the phone, while providing a high-level customer service experience.
Obtain, verify orders and referrals from providers.
Obtaining patient demographics.
Verify that ordered procedures have been authorized by insurance.
Provide instructions to patients on test / procedure preparation.
What Patient Scheduling Representative will need:
High school Diploma or equivalent.
Medical Terminology
Data entry, and technical skills including 50-60 keystrokes per min.
Preferred previous experience min of 1 year in medical office, or hospital-based setting.
Microsoft Office experience
