Job Description
Intel is looking for an AI Software Solutions Engineer to join the AI Community Enablement team. As a member of this team, you would engage with the AI developer community to drive broad education and adoption of Intel AI software and hardware.
In this role, you would combine AI engineering expertise and developer community outreach. The role involves creating and delivering technical training and content through workshops, sample code, conferences, meet-ups, blogs, videos, and other direct outreach (on platforms like Hugging Face, Kaggle, GitHub, Medium, and YouTube). This position may require up to 10 percent travel to events like in-person team meetings, external workshops, and developer conferences.
Some of the tasks you would be expected to work on in the first year at Intel:
Build and execute a pipeline to deploy fine-tuned task-specific generative AI models and large language models (LLMs) relevant to specific verticals onto Hugging Face and Intel Tiber Developer Cloud that work on Windows devices like Intel's new AI PC.
Build end-to-end examples of plug-ins for applications on Windows client devices.
Identify field datasets and create synthetic datasets to fine-tune models.
Create and amplify your work through code samples, blogs, videos, and other content for AI developers, so that others can create alongside you.
Drive alignment with stakeholders across Intel to validate and amplify your work.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, research, and relevant previous job and/or internship experience.
Minimum Qualifications:
- The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree (with 3+ years' work experience) or Master's degree (with 2+ years' work experience) in a scientific or engineering discipline.
2+ years' experience in areas below:
Windows client device AI application development (eg., DirectML, WebNN, ONNX, PyTorch)
Software development in Python.
Software development in JavaScript.
Experience with popular AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Transformers.
Demonstrated project work in deep learning, generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Experience working in a Linux environment.
Technical training content with compelling code samples and demos.
Conducted training workshops, webinars, and hackathons.
Preferred Qualifications:
A solid reputation and following in AI developer communities.
Experience with Intel-optimized AI libraries like Intel Extension for PyTorch.
1+ years of experience working on applications in a specific vertical like healthcare, financial services, automotive, manufacturing, etc.
Proficiency and understanding of Intel data center and client hardware.
Project management experience.
Experience committing to open-source projects.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California: $162,082.00-$243,222.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
