Position Summary:
Assists nurses with direct and indirect patient care activities. Prepares patients rooms for occupancy after discharge. Acts as receptionist for nursing unit. Responsible for performing a variety of clerical duties to support the nursing staff relating to the updating and organizing of information on the nursing unit; reporting patient information to the immediate supervisor and resource nurse.

Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a Nurse Assistant Certification Program or equivalent
CPR issued by American Heart Association or Red Cross Certification
Preferred:
Minimum of six (6) months recent experience as a Nurse Assistant in an acute care setting
Certificate of successful completion of a course in Clerk Nursing
Previous Phlebotomy training/experience
