What you'll do...
Quick analytical abilities to rapidly resolve issues as they come up
Drive improvements in Warranty results.
Engage plant quality and production teams to prevent repetitive damage from the process and work with STA on supplier topics.
Oversees day-to-day ECBs and analyzes details for follow-up.
Lead and establish warranty review meetings with various OPD/supplier partners; focus on high hurts based on the data.
Update the warranty summaries for the control centers, PIC Room and PQR
Weekly Paynter report warranty follow-up/analysis on PRT, PIC ROOM, and other meetings.
Resolve issues arising related to manufacturing processes or surrounding dealer & PD topics.
Interface daily with other Ford departments (PD, OPD, PVT, Warranty, Quality, STA, Production, and other sister plants)
Ability to support meetings with Ford Teams around the globe requires availability for WebEx outside of normal business hours.
Overall manufacturing process basic knowledge. Product basic knowledge.
Ford GSAR-specific warranty system knowledge. Ford PTS (professional technician system) specific warranty system knowledge.
Ford GCQIS Hotline-specific warranty system knowledge.
Ford WPAC warranty part return specific warranty system knowledge.
Ford BSAQ-specific warranty system knowledge. Able to Traceability knowledge.
Global 8D process.
Ford Recall basic knowledge
Monthly warranty reporting 0MIS, 1MIS, 3MIS, 6MIS, 12 MIS analysis
You'll have...
Bachelors Degree or equivelant experience
Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision
Ability to lead cross-functional groups to resolve concerns
Strong written and oral communication skills: you will be speaking or presenting to Ford leadership or representing Ford while engaging with 3rd party suppliers
High level of analytical skills to trend quality data and take appropriate actions
Ability to positively influence change
Ability to handle complex issues and multi-tasking
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in using Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint. Understanding of the concepts and principles surrounding Business Objects, SharePoint, and other Ford-specific software.
Even better, you may have...
Warranty, Production, and/or Manufacturing Quality experience preferred.
Experienced in working with GSAR, GCQIS, WPAC, Global 8D, Data cubes, and BSAQ preferred.
EV/ battery, JD Power experience.

This position is a range of salary grades 6 and7.
