Required Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or higher with coursework applicable to the position, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Ability to work independently and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work accurately, organize, plan, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computers and common software applications for administrative use (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Adobe, Google Docs).
- Ability to easily learn new computer programs.
- Willingness to attend training/conferences to maintain and gain knowledge.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to interact effectively with administrators, board members, peers, district staff and public.
- Ability to present a positive image for Munising Public Schools and be a positive, supportive member of the administrative team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related field.
- Employment experience in a Human Resources roll.
- Experience in a public-school office environment.
- Experience in employee hiring, employee orientation & training, maintaining personnel records or State School Data Reporting.
- Experience with SchoolsOpen and/or PowerSchool.
