Job Summary
Under general supervision, is responsible for the assessment, analysis, planning, implementation and evaluation of major programs and / or projects such as Corewell Health sponsorship data management program.Acts as a change agent to create and support a positive change process.
Essential Functions
Oversees medium to large sized, multi-faceted projects varying in complexity and involving cross functional experts. These projects could be system-wide.
Drives progress of the project including overseeing the assessment, analysis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Manages work plan, scope and aids in assessment of resource requirements in order to achieve desired outcomes and directs re-engineering efforts. Ensure that the project is achieving the expected business outcomes. Analyzes and documents, processes, procedures and outcomes to seek continuous improvement.
Communicates, collaborates, networks with and acts as a consultant to key stakeholders/business partners / executive level leadership in order to ensure continuity and coordination of services and appropriate utilization of resources. Acts as a mentor to others.
Participates on committees/task forces as member, consultant and/or chair. Develops and leads teams which are larger in scope.
Acts as a change agent to advance the knowledge and use of project management
Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solution of significant issues and develops recommendation for leadership consideration. Competent to work all phases of the project with executive level leadership. Provides guidance, direction and training to less experienced Project Specialists.
Knowledge of Excel.
