GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Performs semiskilled work preparing and serving meals, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is
performed under the moderate supervision of assigned personnel. Prepares, cooks, assembles, and serves
meals and snacks according to U.S.D.A. standards. Cleans kitchen and storeroom always maintains a
sanitary working environment. Inspects, receives, and stores inventory. Ensures rotation of stock and
completion of paperwork. Maintains production records, milk records, and other paperwork. Trains new
staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High school diploma or GED with coursework in home economics, food preparation, or similar
subjects.
