Qualifications:

Minimum High School Diploma or GED
Experience working with children with disabilities.
Able to meet Highly Qualified Para Educator qualifications.
CPI Certification
Desire to work with all aged students.
Demonstrated ability to handle aggressive behavior both physically and emotionally.
Demonstrated ability to handle conflict productively.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain boundaries with students/families.
Ability to work with medically fragile students.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Hours: Classroom Hours: 7:40-3:20, Balanced Calendar Position

Terms of Employment:

Wage and benefits per support staff contract depending upon training and experience.
