Morley is seeking an Instructional Designer to join our Organizational Development (OD) team in Saginaw, Michigan:
- Temporary, project-based opportunity
- Support Fortune / Global 500 client project(s)
- Storyboard and develop eLearning modules to set diverse new hires up for success in their roles
You'll play an important role in helping us understand their learning styles, deliver program material and measure program success. Ultimately, your work will empower associates with the knowledge they need to succeed in their roles.
What You'll Do

Be a part of the agile core team dedicated to the project

Collaborate with key business partners to:

Conduct needs, content and learner analysis

Design a comprehensive training program for an established business area at Morley
-
Develop engaging instructional materials – eLearning modules, job aids, etc.

Apply instructional design principles to create captivating and interactive learning experiences

Utilize adult learning theories to design learner-focused content
-
Develop and implement assessments to measure knowledge transfer and training program effectiveness
- Offer timely and accurate solutions through inbound and outbound conversations (including phone calls, chats, emails and other communications as needed) while keeping a positive and upbeat attitude

SKILLS FOR SUCCESS
- Software proficiency: MS Office suite, Articulate 360, learning management systems (LMS) and other authoring tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- A positive, self-starter attitude with a solid work ethic and ability to meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Eligibility Requirements
- Able to work on site in Saginaw, Michigan, daily
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (OR, extensive expertise and knowledge of the industry, job-related experience and high school diploma or equivalent can be considered in lieu of educational requirements)
- Four or more years of instructional design experience
- Knowledge of instructional design principles and methodology
- Experience developing eLearning projects including storyboarding
Nice to Have
- Masters degree in a field related to instructional design or educational technology
