Our Detroit branch is looking for a new Sea Logistics LCL Gateway Specialist to join our Sea Logistics team.
Your Role
Reporting to the Sea Logistics LCL Gateway Supervisor you will handle all LCL consolidated cargo Master level (Saco) related activities. Responsibilities includes the execution of all operational disciplines and regulatory compliance in a Gateway function through accurate execution of processes, following SOP's and established process standards whilst providing customer satisfaction.
Your Responsibilities
Analyze network based cargo flows,consol benefit and load factorsProvide SaCo loading instructions to underlying CFS Warehouse
Vendor Monitor adherence ofprovided loading instructions
Manage and ensure timely receipt ofrequired export information from origin booking stations
Process timely and accurate costdistribution from SaCo to House level per predefined standards
Responsible to ensure accurateTrack and Trace milestones related to SaCo Master Bill environments
Monitor vendorperformance/compliance per predefined status relating to the Master SaCo
Review SaCo and ensure AEScompliance on House level and escalate to appropriate branches ofpotential non-compliance
Coordinate IPI movements with underlyingvendors to final CFS
Ensure milestone status for IPImovement from point of deconsolidation to ATA at final CFS and LFD information are always up to datefor transparent movement of cargo
Approval and cost verification ofcarrier payables, Domestic payable and vendor invoices as related to SaCo
Assist with P/L (profit/loss)analysis including FSL
Manage OS&D communication
Close cooperation with CustomerCare Team for an enhanced customer experience and collaboration with LCLManagement Team members
Collaborate with Management inSteering of LCL volumes, develop and maintaining Route Network Grid & exception management
Provide active feedback andassistance to publish LCL Sailing Schedules and valid Transit Times
Provide feedback & input for ITenhancement recommendations to improve operational efficiencies that will lead toimproved customer experience
Work in accordance with QSHEworking instructions and procedures
Provide timely responses to internal customers andother K+N offices
First escalation contact forproblem resolution
Advise Team Supervisor of allpotential claims and filing of preliminary claim notices when applicable
Filing of TIP (Tool to ImproveProcesses) where necessary
Any other functions as required
