The Opportunity
Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project coordinator works on a Project Management team, under the direction and guidance of a Senior Project Coordinator or a Project Manager to coordinate estimates, scope of work, schedules, terms and conditions and prices for various customer requests for proposals with other functions in the company and the customer. Will assist in negotiation of proposals as part of the Project Team. After negotiation and award of contracts, coordinates and administers the work with all internal functions to ensure that budgets are placed, schedules are met, payments received and contracts are closed. Close coordination with other groups within Williams International and the customer is necessary. The Program Administrator will coordinate communications with customers and all involved parties in a timely manner to ensure all contractual, customer and Williams International needs are met.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain or Project Management.
- Work involves practical job knowledge and skill gained through zero to three years of prior work experience in such areas as business administration, supply chain or project management.
- Excellent writing, presentation and verbal communication techniques are necessary.
- Program, project or US Government contract management experience will be very useful.
- Must be capable of working in a fast paced and pressure filled environment and have the ability to function effectively in a team setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- PMP Certification is desired.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
