POSITION SUMMARYThe Automotive Intern will assist with general automotive-related duties. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Tear down and inspection of engine components and cylinder heads Cleaning partsMeasurement and computer documentation of components Machine work such as surfacing and grinding Assembly work on engine componentsAssembly and documentation on fuel system components Inventory of partsOther duties as assigned by supervision MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSEducation or experience in automotive repair and maintenanceMechanical aptitudeMust have ability and drive to perform quality workMust be able to perform basic math and have good reading comprehensionExperience using a computerAbility to take instructionMust be able to effectively communicate with supervision and team membersAbility to uphold the Baker culture of integrity and teamworkMust possess a valid driver’s licenseAbility to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screenPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge and experience with Microsoft Excel
