Position Summary: The Day Camp Bible Counselor is responsible for the Bible classes during summer Day Camp.
Essential Responsibilities:
Responsible for instruction of the Bible class sessions with day camp groups
Responsible for praying and following up with youth who would like to make a commitment to Christ during camp sessions
Track and report names of youth accepting Christ during camp sessions
Attend all staff meetings
Clean meeting space after each session
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Some college with a focus on biblical studies, preferred
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Computer Skills:
Basic skills in Microsoft Office 365
Working knowledge of TEAMS and SharePoint
Willingness to learn new software as needed
Certificates and Licenses:
Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
