Description:
3rd shift Process Technician opening. Responsible for burns, splays, discolorations, shorts on plastic extrusion equipment. Troubleshoot the machine to adjust temperatures, material flow, adjust cycle times.
Floor has many smaller extrusion machines, will train if candidate has some processing knowledge: temperatures needed, materials of plastics knowledge
Will work in 2 man teams; there are 4 per shift. Making addition parts for all other plants that are assembled onto bigger parts, they are a feeder plant to other USF locations.
Will work 8-9 hour shifts, 5-6 days/week on average; working occasional 5 or 7 days/week.
1st Shift: 7am to 3pm
2nd Shift: 3pm to 11pm
3rd Shift: 11pm to 7am.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must:
3 year Plastic Injection Processing experience
Ability to work up to 5-6 days/week
3 years Crane and Hilo experience
1st piece troubleshooting experience(burn, splay, short)
3 years experience troubleshooting plastic machines
