• The resident engineer will have a broad scope of activity and responsibility including, but not limited to the following:
• Perform vehicle testing (system checkout)
• HiL/SiL/ Test Bench support
• SW updates, troubleshooting, mechanical inspection
• Support DFMEA reviews
• Investigate quality returns
• Assist in developing documentation
• Regularly attend customer meetings and test drives (including multi-day)
• Local support of prototype vehicle setups Acceptance drives of systems for test vehicles
• Contribute to requirements analysis and documentation
Your Background:• Bachelor’s degree in a Technical / Engineering Discipline (electrical, systems, computer science, software, computer or related field of study)
• 3+ years of experience with automotive electronics development
• 3+ years of experience with Autonomous Driving or Active Safety
Additional Background Preferences:• 5-10 years of experience with Automotive Electronics and Active Safety
• Experience with Polarion, DOORS, (or similar) as a requirements management tool.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and collaboration tools
• Experience with embedded software, including AutoSAR, QNX, Embedded Linux, or Embedded C and C++.
• Experience with automotive Systems-on-Chip (SOC) from TI, Renesas, NXP, Qualcomm, Infineon, etc.
• Experience with automotive time synchronized data collection systems for logging sensor data.
• Experience with automotive GNSS/GPS and Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) test systems.
• Experience with automotive Cyber Security and Functional Safety requirements.
