Position Summary:
Dematic Corp. has an immediate need for a Contract Manager to support the continual growth of Dematic's North America business. This position is responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and drafting contracts, nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements and other specialized agreements.
Strong communication, problem-solving and team building skills are necessary to work with various technical disciplines and internal departments, including project management and the global legal team. The Candidate must show good interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and manage multiple projects in a corporate setting.
What we offer:
Essential Role and Responsibilities
Provide cradle to grave contract administration support for various sizes of Dematic projects, often simultaneously
Independently draft and negotiate contracts, including master and supplementary agreements
Respond promptly and accurately with minimal supervision to business requests for advice related to complex contracts and escalate to legal team and others where required
Prepare analysis to identify key terms, comparisons to our standard agreements and recommend strategy to business as needed
Develop and maintain templates, standard operating procedures for contracting processes and track associated metrics
Support the continuous improvement of standard form agreements and processes impacting the legal and project management teams

Qualification Requirements
Typically BS/BA in related discipline or significant experience in contract management roles
Minimum of five (5 years) contract administration experience procuring capital and non-capital contracts including preparing request for proposals, bid documents, contracts and preparing requisitions
Ability to identify and resolve moderately complex problems and apply problem-solving skills
Experience in applying knowledge of drafting and reviewing moderately complex contracts
Demonstrates ability to apply knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures to commercial contracts
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent negotiation skills preferred
