Job Description

Nashville Locker Service is looking to hire up to two Part-Time or one full-time Meat Cutter. Job duties will include the following:

Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery to ensure meat quality.
Estimate requirements and requisition meat supplies to maintain inventories.
Wrap, weigh, label, and price cuts of meat.
Cut, trim, bone, tie, and grind meats, such as beef and pork, to prepare in cooking form.
Operate commercial grade cutting equipment, scales, and packaging equipment.
Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers.
Shape, lace, and tie roasts, using boning knife, skewer, and twine.
Total sales and collect money from customers.
Supervise other butchers or meat cutters.
Other duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
