Eaton's IT team is currently seeking a Digital Manufacturing IT Scrum Master to join team. This position will be based at our Beachwood, Ohio, Moon TWP, PA, Houston, TX, Galesburg, MI, Raleigh, NC or Menomonee Falls, WI. The position is eligible for a hybrid work setup.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $105,000 - $154,000 a year.

What you'll do:
This position will oversee and manage one or more product and software development teams as a servant leader. The Scrum Master will ensure that teams follow Agile practices and Scrum framework values, work to increase team efficiency, provide motivation and guidance for process improvement, and help with scaling. The Scrum Master will ensure that all Scrum events take place and are positive, productive, and kept within the timebox. The Scrum Master will work to eliminate cross-team impediments and promote Kaizen thinking. The Scrum Master works directly with Product Owners, engineers and other product team members to guide the product development lifecycle, help create user stories, and manage the product backlog.
Job Responsibilities:
Accountable for all Agile ceremonies of a Scrum team including planning, review, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
Drive a Secure Product Development Lifecycle approach that establishes a strong cybersecurity focus and culture across the entire engineering lifecycle
Trains, mentors, and supports Scrum teams to follow Agile values, principles, and practices
Use Agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
Assists the Product Owner with epic creation, decomposition and multi-sprint planning
Support the estimation and prioritization of user stories
Collect, track, and report Agile metrics on performance and progress of the product
Support the identification and implementation of improvement opportunities
Resolve impediments and escalate where required
Coordinate with other Agile teams to ensure alignment and management of dependencies including participation in Scrum of Scrums or related ceremonies where applicable
Ensures a safe and trusting environment for the team to raise and resolve issues
Leads the capacity planning for each sprint
Communicates risks, status and general updates to stakeholders
Manage one or more Scrum teams across multiple geographies
Improve the Agile maturity of the team on a continuous basis
Support the Product Owner in cost tracking for scrum projects
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum 5 years working on an agile team OR leading technology project
Minimum 3 years Scrum Master experience
This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). -Demonstrable understanding of product management and modern product delivery processes
Experience working with Agile, including Scrum or Kanban
Experience with Agile software tools and producing Agile artifacts
General understanding of DevSecOps principles
Experience with modern software development principles including code management, test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud services.
Able to coach the teams
Comprehensive understanding of waterfall methodology including a good understanding of the MS Project software, ability to identify critical path and mitigate risks
Soft skills:
Strong communication and presentation skills
Patience and empathy working with mentees and people new to Agile
Comfortable working directly with both technical and non-technical audiences
Strong listening skills with the intention of understanding
Experience working with diverse, global cultures, organizations and teams
