We are currently seeking a talentedBusiness Finance Managerto join our team within Dow Industrial Solutions (DIS). DIS is poised for further growth with an innovative portfolio serving consumer, energy, and industrial markets.
Your responsibilities include:
Provide strategic financial guidance and support for routine finance activities, including closing, financial estimates, profit planning, budgeting, and long-term planning to ensure adherence to company policies
Actively participate in monthly and quarterly closing and estimate processes, offering comprehensive business analysis for the business, and addressing any deviations versus estimates and planning
Develop robust financial models for economic evaluations of capital projects, engaging in critical discussions on business case assumptions and effectively communicating with senior leadership
Leverage business finance expertise to tackle complex problems and influence decision-making across the organization
Interpret internal and external business challenges, recommending best practices based on thorough financial analysis
Provide senior management with reporting and insights to facilitate informed business decisions driven by financial performance indicators
Ensure the integrity and compliance of financial information in accordance with USGAAP/Sarbanes-Oxley regulations
Qualifications:
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or other related disciplineORequivalent military experience at a U.S. E6 rank/Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or higher
Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience
Strong work ethic, collaborative spirit, analytical mindset, and ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts to non-finance audiences
Extensive expertise in business finance, with a proven ability to influence and solve complex problems
Proficiency in financial modeling and economic evaluation frameworks
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in Business Finance
