We are currently seeking a CNC Lathe Operator/Programmer. You will be responsible for the set up of CNC lathes, programming, and manufacturing products to blueprint spec. Common materials turned are steels, steel alloy, stainless steel, and aluminum. Most pieces are single order or low volume. No high volume production. Inspection equipment used includes micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges. All applicants must be able to pass a drug test.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up CNC lathes according to blueprint specifications
- Select appropriate tooling
- G Code programming at the machine
- In process inspection and adjustment
- Meet production schedules
- Follow all safety regulations
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED certificate
- CNC lathe experience
- Familiarity with measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers
- Experience working with various metals
- Technical ability and basic math skills
