The Administrator develops and implements strategies to maintain the centers' occupancy while encouraging positive relationships with the community. This position has a starting annual salary range between $90,000 - $96,000.

Job Summary
Provides overall leadership and administration of Assisted Living and or Independent Living Communities operations, programs and services in coordination with the Senior Adult Services program.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee the development and implementation of program planning, goal setting, outcome evaluation and measurement, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Provide guidance to managers, analyzing trends, developing strategic plans and outcomes.
Implement and evaluate written operational guidelines for the daily administration and management of center's physical site, programs, and services.
Provide leadership to team members. Partner with management and Human Resource Development to lead talent acquisition, staff development, performance management and other attraction and retention efforts.
Ensure development, maintenance and communication of written policies/procedures governing activities of the community.
Ensure operations meet all regulatory and quality assurance standards including but not limited to (MI) OSHA, local ordinances, resident rights, and organization policy and procedure.
Ensure development and implementation of recruitment/marketing strategies to maintain center's occupancy; actively pursue positive internal and external public relations with residents and families, churches and community. Maintain positive liaison with residents, families, and responsible parties.
Partner with appropriate professional associations/groups, social agencies, and community councils, to meet organization's objectives.
Develop, implement and monitor annual operating budget within organization fiscal guidelines; ensure adherence to Corporate Financial Policies and procedures.
Job Qualifications
Education, Training, and Licensure/Certification
Bachelor's degree in health, public or business administration or in another health related field or equivalent work experience.
Experience
Five years' direct managerial experience in a related capacity; five years' experience with marketing initiatives preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and engage staff, support professional development efforts and create high performing, cross multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent written communications skills with ability to generate business communications, reports and summaries; excellent oral communication skills with ability to clearly present expectations and other information to all levels of the organization in one-on-one and group settings; ability to speak, read and write fluent English.
Ability and willingness to work constructively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Ability to communicate and display compassion and sensitivity with vulnerable adults who may become angry, hostile, or combative.
Excellent critical thinking and problem resolution skills. Ability to effectively implement change management.
Ability to work proactively with physicians and all levels of the organization.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with ability to interpret data, including financial reports, identify areas of opportunity and apply logic to draw valid conclusions.
Knowledge of program development and administration.
Ability to function independently.
Strong computer skills with ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Office Suite.
