Location: This is a hybrid position reporting to our Corporate Office in East Jordan, Michigan. SUMMARY Responsible for the implementation and management of an integrated cost management reporting system and the accurate reporting of financial data across the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Accountable for the implementation, development, and update of our integrated cost management system. * Responsible for the accurate valuation of our on-hand inventory. * Compiles and analyzes financial information to ensure accurate standard costs and minimal standard cost variances. * Collaborates and communicates with the Director of Finance, as well as other departments within the Company, on a regular basis as a key financial resource. * Reviews actual results compared to budget and forecast and recommends forecast changes as appropriate to keep financial data accurate. * Plays an integral role in budgeting and the month end closing process. * Performs and accomplishes other functions, such as special projects, presentations, and analyses as needed. * Passionate and committed to learning by seeking out opportunities for growth whenever available. * Intelligent. * Highly organized. * High integrity, open, transparent, and honest. * Knowledgeable and proficient with ERP systems, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises 2-3 employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
