General Production Worker
Description:
1st shift: 5A-2:30P M-F
**This is general production job where employees will be cross-trained on a number of different roles within the shop. Assembly, laser, metal fabrication machines (brake press, manual machinery), etc. Person MUST be willing to help out wherever needed.
-This is a metal job shop setting at a smaller company and you could be doing multiple different jobs.
-You will be loading the steel onto the machines
-Once you go through the machine and come out through the other end you are checking the part and either sanding down or deburring any part that needs it
-You are doing quality checks on the parts and inspection
-Then you will be stacking the parts onto a rack
-Once the parts are stacked you are moving them to the shipping and receiving department
-You are also responsible with helping sweep and clean to keep the shop in the clean condition they have it.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST
-1 year experience in manufacturing (preferably job shop setting)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
-Ability to work in a team
-Ability to be flexible in job duties and help where help is needed
-Hs diploma/GED
