Job Objective:
The E-Commerce Associate performs a variety of tasks and duties to support the E-Commerce Department in its entirety. This includes but is not limited to processing, photography, listing, picking and packing product in a way that ensures effective and efficient management of product for optimal customer experience.

Process items delivered from suppliers to determine stability based on provided guidelines and condition.
Determine if an item, based on the provided brand lists, should be sent through an external authentication service.
Perform basic data entry and detail photography to utilize our authentication software
Sort through raw donations, including clothing, shoes, accessories, home goods, and jewelry, to find high-quality designer product for the purpose of re-sale through the E-Commerce site.
Perform data entry tasks to create detailed and informational listings on eBay and other online sales platforms, using our software. This also includes accurately measuring and weighing items for customer information and shipping requirements.
Retrieve merchandise from shelves and place merchandise into appropriate packaging including packaging fragile items to ensure optimal customer experience. Affix appropriate shipping labels and stage merchandise in preparation for shipping
Respond to phone and email inquiries from customers in a timely manner, and support customer on-site pickup of purchased items
Use warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, etc. to move product in, out, and within the warehouse
Take clear and accurate photographs of the items for sale in such detail and number to provide the potential customer with enough information about the item's appearance, condition, size, color, shape, composition, brand, model, size, and any other descriptive detail
Observe details on items closely to locate any marks on an item for sale, such as scuff marks, maker's marks, or hidden logos
Ability to use a mobile phone camera, lightbox, studio lighting, and backdrops to take accurate photographs of product, maintaining a sense of their condition, color, and proportions
Knowledge of basic photo editing functions present on most smart phones and use of that knowledge to rotate or crop photographs as needed
Maintains established productivity goals without loss of quality of work
Maintains work areas in a neat and orderly manner with clean-up activities performed throughout the day
Assist with all departmental functions, as need including shipping, sorting product, listing product, storing product, and testing product
