Estimated annual base pay: $93,800.00 (minimum) - $117,300.00 (midpoint) - $140,800.00 (maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're an experienced Materials or Metallurgy Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Woodward is hiring a Senior Materials Engineer in Zeeland, MI. This individual will be responsible carrying out engineering analysis tasks in our Special Processes department.
What You Will Be Doing
Conducting metallurgical evaluations and performing tests including but not limited to intergranular microstructure evaluations and material hardness testing.
Identifying metals and non-metals and point to possible internal and external resources.
Performing qualification of braze and weld joints.
Auditing special processes for compliance
Conducting certification compliance (Nadcap or other regulatory organizations)
Performing contamination analysis
What We Are Looking For
BA or BS in a technical science is required. (Materials or Metallurgy degree is preferred)
2 or more years of experience in a professional engineering role or a combination of experience and an advanced degree is required.
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
