About Custom Profile
Custom Profile is an employee-owned company that develops and manufactures specialty thermoplastic profile extrusions and sub-assemblies with locations in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Camden, SC and Juarez, Mexico. Our in-house tooling design and fabrication allows for complete control of quality and reduced lead times. The company boasts a blue-chip customer base, including Herman Miller, Haworth, Hon/Allsteel, Steelcase, Whirlpool, Electrolux, GE Appliance, 3M and others.
What We Do for Grand Rapids, Michigan
Established in 1992, our Grand Rapids, Michigan plastic extrusion warehouse has been with us since the beginning. With a 125,000-sq.-ft. building area and an impressive 110,000 sq. ft. in production space, Custom Profile can produce high-quality plastic products on a short timeline. Equipped with 19 extrusion lines and 9 co-extruders, and more thanks to collaboration with our other two locations, we can tackle any project with ease.

The successful candidate will be responsible for :
· Prepping, setting up, starting and overall completion of all set-ups per company specs and standard work instructions within assigned business unit.
· Follow standard work methods and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
· Support the company goas of Zero Defects by inspecting parts for surface quality, color, profile appearance and dimensions, complete quality checks as necessary.
· Troubleshoot processes and adjust and make improvements as necessary.
Support the training of other production employees.
