As a 3rd Shift Quality Control Technician, you will preform quality tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods. You will report to a Quality Manager and work onsite at our Adrian, MI plant. This shift is 11pm to 7:30am.
Main Responsibilities:
Perform QC testing of incoming production samples
Communicate with production, quality control and technical associates
Ensure that all products and raw materials tested meet PPG Quality standards
Input data/results into various electronic databases
Test Finished Goods over a time period - recheck viscosity program
Remove & recycle older samples into scrap containers
Provide batch adjustment information to associates by walking through the production area
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required
Ability to lift 25 lbs. required
Basic math skills and computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
1 year of practical laboratory knowledge and/or experience preferred
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends when necessary
