Electrical Maintenance Technician
AJD Forest Products LP in Grayling, MI is looking to add a full-time Electrical Maintenance Technician to our team.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
- Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic test to identify electrical issues
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical diagrams
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure efficient operation of electrical systems.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations.
- Communicate and work well in a team setting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician or similar role.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Knowledge of industrial electrician practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of start / stop and various sensor wiring.
- Experience with PLC / Ladder logic is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work with high voltage systems safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to detect and resolve electrical issues.
- 3 years of verifiable experience in a similar role and work environment highly preferred but not required

Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of apprentice program or electrical certifications preferred but not required
Schedule
- Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
- Occasional work outside of the standard schedule may be required
Experience
- Three years of verifiable experience in a similar role and or work environment highly preferred, but not required.
