Job Details

We are seeking a highly motivated coordinator to monitor the City'sCelebration Square Splash Park to ensure safety of the residents and upkeep of the facility. As the Coordinator, you will be responsible routine, entry-level work. This position is a temporary poition that runs the week of Memorial Day (May 27) through Labor Day (9/2).

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for park openings and closings, based on the park standards enforced by management.
• Responsible for all litter clean-up over the entire premises.
• Must continuously survey the facility, to include a visual inspection of the equipment and complete park grounds.
• Minor lawn and garden duties will be required, as needed.
• Cleans and monitors facility bathrooms, maintaining a standard of cleanliness.
• Assists the public with general use of the park facilities, reminds visitors for the park rules and notifies the supervisor and/or authorities of violators as needed.

Requirements:

• High School graduate or GED equivalent required.
• Successful completion of a criminal background investigation including a pre-employment physical with drug screen.
• Prior experience working with youth of various ages preferred.
• Experience in basic operation of a push lawnmower and weed whacker preferred.
• Must be willing to work rotating weekends as scheduled.
• Must be responsible, mature, reliable, team-oriented and observant of your surroundings.
• Must have good communications skills for effective interaction with the public. Prior customer service experience is helpful.
• Must have reliable transportation to work site.
