This is a part time non-career position that is limited to 129 hours per month and 719 hours per appointment.

As the next travel counselor, you will be responsible for:
Welcoming and providing assistance to tourists traveling throughout our state.
Assisting in receiving and stocking literature to the display racks and the Welcome Center's stockroom.
Assisting with maintaining inventory of literature for the Welcome Center.
Monitoring daily janitorial duties periodically along with emergency janitorial duties.
Suggesting travel plans and tourist activities to other facilities, whether it be recreational, business or emergency in nature, with the purpose of maximizing tourist experiences.

This State Worker position is for help at the Welcome Center in their literature area. This is not a permanent position, it offers no benefits, the rate of pay is $16.00 per hour, and the hours will not exceed 129 hours per month or 719 hours per appointment.
